EERSTA SAFYRA™ V 22 is a medicinal grade white mineral oil which can be used in a variety of food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications subject to the applicable laws and regulations in each country. It is highly refined, odorless, tasteless and have excellent color stability. It meets the purity requirements of the following International Pharmacopoeias specifications:

• US Pharmacopoeia/National Formulary, USP 34/NF 29
• European Pharmacopoeia, most recent edition
• US FDA, 21 CFR 172.878 and 21 CFR 178.3620(a)

It is acceptable as a lubricant with incidental food contact (H1) for use in and around food processing areas. It is also acceptable for use as a Release Agent (3H) on grills, ovens, loaf pans, boning benches, chopping boards, or other hard surfaces in contact with meat and poultry food products to prevent food from adhering during processing.
